Ingredients:
- 150 gm Yellow split Peas (dried)
- 115 gm Lentils
- 80 gm Oat meal
- 750 gm Lamb chop
- 2 tbsp Maiezana
- 4 tsp Jeera
- 1 Onion (big)
- 4 tsp Massala
- 3 tsp Ajinomoto
- Lemon
- Salt and Pepper according to taste
- Green Coriander
Preparation:
- Boil the split peas, lentils in water with salt for around, 30 minutes.
- Then marinate the lamb cut into cubes with salt, pepper, maiezena, lemon juice and ajinomoto.
- Fry the diced onion in a Chinese wok and add the lamb to it.
- Cook the meat for a few minutes until all its water is evaporated and then add the masala as well as jeera to it.
- When the dhal is ready, add the lamb and 2 liter of water to it and cook the mixture for 30 minutes, in a pressure cooker.
- Then, add the oats diluted in a glass of water to it.
- Now boil the mixture, until it thickens into a nice soup, sprinkle diced coriander for garnish and serve piping hot.
